Life on travel

This is the first post after departing London few days ago. I still haven't realised I am so far away from all what I use to call every day life! It is a kind of a mixed feeling the last days, a feeling of leaving the secure for the unsecured, the feeling of an end and of a new start, the known and the unknown, the secure and the tentative. On the crossroad of all these, the exciting time has come for me to embark for new adventures out there, travelling our beautiful planet, exploring new places and cultures.

In the next six months, we will be going through cities, villages, rivers, glaciers, mountains, jungle and beaches, and we will be meeting all sorts of different people. We will be using many different 'exotic' currencies, from what I can gather at the moment about 12! Life on travel is not easy, it involves dangers, rough sleeping, heat, cold, dirt and uncomfort. However, being a world citizen provides the opportunity to widen someone's perceptual horizons, to learn more about the world we live in, to be aware why other cultures and societies behave differently than our western thinking. I hope I will be able to transfer you all the impressions and experiences we will be going through the next months. I hope these experiences will compensate the pain of leaving behind people I will truly miss, like friends, family and surely my beloved girlfriend. I will make sure I will keep myself safe and secure and enjoy every moment to the max!

Stay in touch!
